Atomix's current material states no order-volume minimum and explicitly welcomes pre-launch brands. An older (now-retired) Help Center policy described tier-based minimum order-volume requirements — a superseded historical policy, not the current structured fact, preserved in the editorial notes below rather than deleted.

Cross-border fulfillment is confirmed via a partner-3PL network in Canada, the UK, and Australia — not Atomix's own physical facilities, all three of which are in the United States (see Facility network below).

Industry fit

"Not confirmed" means this industry doesn't appear on Atomix's own published material we checked — it is not the same as a confirmed decline. Food & Beverage (Perishable / Cold Chain) is an explicit decline, not a research gap.

Special handling & certifications

Temperature-controlled here means confirmed ambient climate control, not refrigerated/frozen cold-chain storage — Atomix's own material explicitly states there is no cold room, so cold chain stays a separate, explicit decline rather than inferred from the temperature-control fact.

Every facility below is a real, physical warehouse from Atomix's own published locations page — CartEconomics has not confirmed whether each one is Atomix-owned, leased, or a partner-network node, so that is shown as unconfirmed rather than assumed.

Source note: Atomix currently publishes slightly different on-time performance figures across its own pages — ≥98.8% on its pricing page and ≥98.9% on its homepage and guarantees page. Both are current, official Atomix-published figures, not a historical-vs-current conflict. CartEconomics retains the more conservative ≥98.8% as the structured performance figure above and records this discrepancy here rather than treating either number as the single settled value. This is separate from the On-Time Shipping Guarantee in the Financial guarantees section, which is a contractual commitment with a named per-order financial remedy, not a performance statistic.

CartEconomics take

CartEconomics editorial synthesis — not a provider-sourced fact

Best for

  • Small, fast-moving CPG brands (snacks & food, health & wellness/supplements, apparel, beauty) shipping items generally under ~5 lbs
  • Pre-launch and early-stage brands — explicitly welcomed, no order-volume minimum
  • Brands wanting a written, dollar-denominated guarantee program (order accuracy, on-time shipping, billing accuracy, inventory accuracy) with automatic credits
  • Brands needing high-touch kitting, subscription-box assembly, or custom branded packaging

Not ideal for

  • Brands needing genuine refrigerated or frozen storage (explicitly declined — "no cold room," no validated unbroken cold-chain custody)
  • Brands needing an Atomix-owned international fulfillment facility (international reach is via a partner-3PL network in Canada/UK/Australia, not Atomix's own warehouses)

Strengths

  • All 9 controlled ecommerce platforms confirmed supported, a clean sweep matched by no other provider modeled so far
  • No order-volume minimum, with pre-launch brands explicitly welcomed
  • A written four-guarantee program (order accuracy, on-time shipping, billing accuracy, inventory accuracy) with automatic credits and named claim windows
  • Partially-public pricing structure — more transparent about pricing methodology than any other provider modeled so far

Limitations

  • A Help Center policy dated April 11, 2025 ("Is there a minimum monthly fee? What if my volume drops?", by Patrick Day) is now independently confirmed: it states Atomix "implements tier-based pricing structures with minimum order volume requirements" and that a merchant "may still be billed for the minimum fulfillment fee associated with that tier" if volume falls below it, plus a continuing monthly software/platform fee. This is treated as a superseded historical policy — current 2026 material consistently and directly states no order-volume minimum — not deleted, since the Help Center portal itself remains live (now labeled "Atomix Logistics (RETIRED) Team").
  • The monthly-dollar-minimum "none" value is directly confirmed by a current Atomix-authored article ("The Best 3PL for DTC Brands in 2026," last updated September 17, 2026): "No order-volume minimum and no monthly minimum, per the Atomix pricing page FAQ" (stated twice) and "Atomix does not apply an order-volume or monthly minimum, per its published pricing FAQ." This article attributes the claim to the pricing-page FAQ, though the FAQ's own visible text (as separately checked) states only the order-volume-minimum half explicitly — kept consistent and current regardless, since the September 2026 article is itself a direct, dated first-party statement of the full claim.
  • Contract term is genuinely contradictory in current first-party material: the homepage states partnerships run on a 12-month term with a dedicated Pod, while a separate current (August 2026) Atomix-authored blog post markets month-to-month/no-long-term contracts. Not resolved; future content should phrase this carefully.
  • Temperature-controlled storage is confirmed at the Oak Creek facility only; Salt Lake City's own facility page references "Temp-Controlled Storage" as an available service, which contradicts the dedicated temperature-control service page's explicit "Milwaukee facility only" scoping. Modeled as facility-level 'no' for Salt Lake City and Baltimore per the more specific, service-dedicated source, with this contradiction disclosed rather than hidden.
  • Square footage for Oak Creek (200,000 sq ft) and Salt Lake City (75,000 sq ft) are the current network-wide figures; some individual facility pages still show smaller, superseded figures (60,000 and 40,000 sq ft respectively) likely left over from a prior, smaller facility.
  • Special-project/kitting pricing is not published on the current public pricing page (only "priced by complexity/time"). Two different dated Help Center rates exist and must not be conflated: a standard $60-minimum/$60-per-hour rate (last updated July 18, 2025) and a separate Nov 15–Jan 2 holiday-season surcharge rate of $375 minimum/$125 per hour (from a 2024 holiday-prep article) — neither is modeled as Atomix's current general rate.

CartEconomics notes

The first provider in this project where current marketing promises (automatic, dollar-specific guarantee remedies) were found to materially outrun an older, more cautious operational policy document for the same guarantee — a different kind of source conflict than the wording-precision issues (e.g. FDA registered vs. certified) seen in prior pilots, resolved here by treating the dated, current 2026 guarantees page as authoritative while preserving the older language in limitations rather than deleting it.
